I have been reading Transformers fanfics. Too much in fact, not to have ideas for original characters. But before I get to that, here is a boring explanation of terms. Borrows from Stat sheets I saw here on DA.
STATS:
Strength: Brute physical force
Intelligence: Mental Flexibility, strategy, and Acuity.
Speed: How quickly you get from A to B. Also affects/considers reaction time.
Endurance: How quickly you tire; how well you can take a hit.
Rank: How much authority you have.
Courage: How well you can take stress, whether under fire or not.
Firepower: How hard you can hit.
Skill: How experienced you are at using your armament(s).

Walking down from her perch, she blinked. It was so bright. Finding her way out would be difficult, but it hadn't changed that much, had it? The light was streaming through the cracks in many places, but she could see anyway.

"I don't know about the others here. I cannot answer for them. I won't even try. I am a stranger here. But that is immaterial. You are harming the weak. You are trampling the poor. The robed and armored warriors laughed. Those bystanders nearby screamed in pain. These warriors were unnatural, powerful, and obviously not alive.
Their voices were almost as painful. "Foolish mortal, you cannot think to even slow us down. We have served our Master for so long, we cannot be harm
The chirpy girl asked, "And what is that?" He replied, "That is a Cellular Telephone, commonly abbreviated 'cellphone.'"
"Oh, what does it do?"
"You can speak with someone who also has one, from far away, if you have their contact information, and if you both have a strong enough signal, and if the batteries of each have sufficient charge."

He stood alone. Allies would have been welcome, but the others were...occupied; also, a world or two away...and it did not matter.
These things did not belong. Horrible, insatiable appetites, remorseless, made of evil...this also did not matter.

As he ate, Daniel mulled over what he had seen and done. The land far to the west was gutted--little or no normal flora and fauna, other than what the invaders had needed to leave. Again, not much. All surviving wildlife had fled in advance of the horde. Also, not much had survived in that
regard. What had survived, however, were some of the deadliest, most cunning, roaming predtors. They would not arrive for some weeks, but the result would be a cascading effect: Theses predators would push others, eating the normal supply of game. More predators would advance east, further

This is a spectrum of the power sets (my own concept, to keep things straight). Powers can be skills, abilities, and/or the nature of a person.
For each successive class with a Tier, the previous classes' traits may be true, more so (strengths) or less so (weaknesses), and some types of
powers may have their own individual traits besides. Each Tier may be at least 2X more powerful than the one below it, which may lead to confusion
as to where they are classified.
NOTE: Where powers or skills are not martial/misleading/defensive, then those who are armed will have less difficulty dealing with them. Usually...

**TWO WEEKS EARLIER**
Those barbarians sure knew how to howl....He was really tired of hearing it. However, it was necessary to ascertain
their strength, numbers, and tactics, if possible. The howling did help in locating the men and women. It would really
help if he could get closer, but the enemy had shamans, and some of their idols were in evidence. There were no priests
present, for which he thanked the Most High. Even though their magic would not find him, some might have the skill to infer
his location, anyway. It had happened before. Nonetheless, Daniel knew he had more work to do.

I am back, sort of... I am finally going to post some original puns. Also, looking for some landscapes I can test-print for part of my job. No copyrighted material, and unlikely to be used unless it actually comes out right.
I am done. I no longer see a point to writing any stories. I just don't have the heart for it anymore. I am currently debating whether to keep any of this worthless and useless crap on this site. I apologize for wasting anyone's time.

Wellllll...here's to a new start. Not sure what i'll do, but here goes.....
Here's an update: I am not going to do anything after The Innkeeper's Daughter. Expect 5-7 total parts. I feel that I have lost the heart of the story. I MIGHT take it up again, but not anytime soon. Perhaps one-shots.
1. I *do* plan on doing a *lite* story; not small, but less intense than Daniel Lyons.
2. An RPG game story. Hapless people go into a shop without permission, and an adventure results. I want input...any people you want added, say your characters, within limits.
3. Other one-shots.
'Nuff said.
